4 steps to a happier YOU

1. Stop worrying what other people think.
Let’s be brutally honest, it really doesn’t matter what most people think. Seek advice from the people you respect and trust. Beyond that, you’ll nearly always have your critics, don’t let them get you down. Do the things that make you happy, not what pleases other people. At the end of the day, you’ll be the one enjoying yourself!
2. Work hard.
Don’t be disappointed by the the results you didn’t get from the work you didn’t put in. If something doesn’t work or fails, know only one thing, that you worked hard and gave it your all. Hold your head high and try something else. Chances are though, if you work hard enough at it, you’ll succeed.
3. Be dead on.
Rarely is there an occasion that you need to be twisted or awkward, apart from maybe the odd phone call to BT or sky. If you treat strangers like friends, be pleasant, helpful, you’ll generally be in better form, you’ll also be more likely to get the same in return.
4. Take time.
It’s important not to let life fly by without taking the time to enjoy/appreciate the important things. If you’re fortunate to have family, take time to speak to them. Stop and have a conversation with someone you haven’t seen a while. Put your phone down and have a look around yourself, take in nature and the grandness of where we live.
Everyone has different values and notions, be true to yours. If life isn’t the way you want it to be, you might need to work extra hard to be grateful for smaller things and experiences. But, whether you’re enjoying life or getting it tight, apply the 4 things above and you’ll be giving yourself the best chance to be happy!
