Or is every day a walking misery? That’s a deep question, I know. But if the answer is the latter, you need to break the cycle, quickly.
So what can you do? This isn’t me saying it’s wrong to not be ok. This is simply me promoting that you’ll feel better if you’ve more good days than bad ones.
Here’s what I reckon to be the top 6 habits of happy people:
1. Regular exercise
This might be through work, the gym, going walking or anything at all. Even a little bit will make you feel better about yourself.
2. Fresh air
Get outdoors. It’s good for the soul.
3. Sleep
Try your best to have reasonable sleeping habits, it’ll leave you feeling that bit better in general.
4. Don’t be an arsehole to people
Good manners cost nothing and being friendly can make someone’s day. You’ll feel better for it too.
5. Eat well most of the time
Healthy food tends to keep your body in sync, or at least gives it a better chance. When you feel well, you’re usually in better form.
6. Try and remind yourself of people who have it worse than you, aka be grateful for the good things you’ve got.
Mental health is real. If you’re not ok, speak to someone. As personal trainers/coaches, we see people on their good days and bad days. We aim to make your time spent in the gym, the best 45 minutes of your day.
Apply these 6 things daily
