What’s It All About?

by | Apr 30, 2020

I came across this card last week when doing a bit of clearing out. It was given to me just before I left Dundee, by a lady I worked with for most of my time in DW. It was a fantastic reminder to me, the benefits that 30 minutes a week, spent with a helping hand and some guidance about nutrition can really have to someone.

Doing a workout, whether it be in the gym, the living room or the back garden can truly be the difference between needing a cry before bed, or having a good day.

It can be the difference in making a relationship work or packing a marriage in.

It can be the difference between working your way up the ladder at work, or hating every day wanting to hide in the store and chop everyones heads off ?

It’s not always about losing weight, although quite often it is. Exercising regularly and eating sensibly can bring about a change in confidence, make you feel better about yourself and put you in a position to be in control of your own emotions.

If you’re reading this and you normally train at a local gym like T1, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Its like losing a limb when you can’t get to it, however you’ve been given a wooden leg as you can actually keep training at home. It does the job but it’s not quite the same.

However, do what you can, with what you have. You’ll still get the benefits of it.

If you’re a trainer or coach reading this and can’t get to work, let this post be a reminder of what is we do and why we do it ??

Feel free to share this if you think someone needs a bit of encouragement or would enjoy the read ?
