by | May 13, 2026

Hannah has been a long term member of T1, she loves training with her family at the gym, here’s why…
“My eldest daughter asked to join me at the gym around 4 years ago, when she started being aware of her overall health and wellness. We started small group training with Tara which worked so well to build her confidence.
Since then, one by one, all four of them have jumped on the band wagon. I asked them all what they thought the benefit of come to TF1 with me is. So in no particular order…”
🔹Physical Health “Being guided in healthy habits. We learn from what we see you do, so coming to the gym with you helps us have physical activity part of our day to day lifestyle.”
🔹Productivity “After we have had a gym session, I am motivated and alert to do school work, I have more clarity and get more done. During exam season it helps me sleep better and manage my stress and anxiety.”
🔹Consistency “I am more likely to attend consistently when I go with you and we encourage each other not to miss sessions. I also watch what you are doing and learn from you rather than annoying the PT with questions all the time!”
🔹Confidence “When I first started, I only wanted to go to small group sessions, but since then I have been confident enough to try other gym setting on my own or with my friends and Tara helped me develop a session I could use by myself.”
“As a mum, I think having common interests and goals with teens really helps with that connection . Being a teenager isn’t easy and just spending time together without any expectation of each other is so positive and it’s great to see them carry that through into their own lives then. Hopefully it will build the foundations for a healthy adulthood and skills to help them manage life’s ups and downs physically and emotionally.”
