Sometimes it’s important to put things into perspective. With a potentially tight winter coming up, you might not have the option to work less hours. However, if you physically crash and burn, you’ll be forced to work less hours anyway.
Aim to find the balance between burning the candle at both ends, versus keeping yourself healthy physically and mentally. Even if it’s only 45 minutes, once a week, to go to a class, or get out for a walk. Prioritise it, rather than filling that 45 minutes to do another job. If you look after yourself, you’ll always be in a better place for looking after others, or getting the most out of your working day/night.
